Freeze-dried products made by Spring Naturals are identical in nutritional composition and bioavailability of nutrients to that of fresh, raw meat.

All this to say that our freeze-dried diets offer all the benefits of raw meat in a convenient way to store, travel, and serve your pets.

High in Protein

Protein builds muscle mass, thereby keeping your pet active and reducing risk of injury.

High in Natural Nutrients

Vital nutrients are preserved in the freeze-drying process, remaining in the preferred natural state for nutritional absorption.

High Palatability/Digestibility

When food is easier to digest and includes a higher concentration of absorbed nutrition, your pet will eat less and produce less waste.

Low Carbohydrates & Starches

Carbohydrates are scientifically shown to be unnecessary for a cat’s nutrition, but they do contribute to weight gain, sluggishness, and health problems such as diabetes. That’s why you won’t find carbs in our pet meals.

Complete & Balanced Diet

A balanced ratio of protein, fat, bones, organs, and vitamins for optimum health.

Essential Fatty Acids (Omega 3 & 6)

Fatty acids help pets maintain a shiny, healthy skin and coat. Therefore, meals high in fatty acids help with less dandruff, itching, and irritation.

Natural Fat Content

Fat is a natural energy booster.

Beneficial Side Effects You May Notice From Feeding a Raw Diet:

Transitioning to Raw Food:

Any time you introduce a new food to a pet, we highly recommend following a slow mixing process to give their body a chance to slowly acclimate to new ingredients. It’s even more important when transitioning a pet from a standard commercial diet to a raw food diet. Not all cats acclimate the same, so spend at least 10 days slowly introducing the food by mixing it with your pet’s original diet to give their digestive system a chance to adjust.

-Days 1-3, mix 25% of the new food with 75% of the original food

-Days 4-6, use a 50-50% mix

-Days 7-10 , use 75% of the new food with just 25% of the original food

-Continue with the new food 100%

If your cat’s stool changes significantly in texture or color and does not resolve within 1-2 days, consider adding 2 days for each step of the transition process and contact your vet for additional guidance.

Preparation & Storage:

Feed as is for a complete meal or mix in with other food. Always provide access to clean, fresh water. Store freeze-dried products in a cool dark place. Best if fed within 30 days after opening.
